Spirit day – October, 20 – wear purple

GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) announced Wednesday, October, 20, the “Spirit day” and asked everybody to wear purple. This national flash mob was to call attention to deaths of 6 teenagers, who committed suicide after bullying for being gay.
There was a lot of purple everywhere that day.
If America forbids any kind of discrimination – by race, religion, gender etc., then sexual orientation should be on this list, too. Otherwise – we live in a free country, until it comes to the bedroom?
